What the shop page showed when this page was built. The number on that page is the one that counts.
Squeeze colored gel into sea creature molds, drop them into water, and scoop out soft, squishy little figures.
- Graded 4 and up on the box
- A making kit rather than building tiles
- Rounded or smoothed edges
- On the craft and curios shelf
A wide plastic bowl on the kitchen table is all this needs. Squeeze the gel into the molds, lower them into the prepared water, and give them a gentle shake until a soft sea creature slips free. They float, wobble, and stay firm enough to catch with the little net.
Shaking them loose
Filling a mold takes a steady squeeze and some patience. Once submerged, the gel skin firms up quickly, and a small sideways wiggle of the plastic tray lets the jelly creature drift out into the bowl.
Glitter and glow
Some bottles squeeze out clear with specks of shine, while others hold color that glows in a dark hallway. Swirling two shades inside one mold gives fish striped tails and sea turtles mottled shells.
The fishing net
Once a small fleet of squishy ocean creatures floats near the surface, scooping them up with the net becomes its own game. They hold their shape in small hands, slightly cool and soft to the touch.
Clean table surface
Everything stays inside the bowl until drying time. Gloves keep fingers clean during the stirring part, and leftover powder packs mean the bowl can be filled again on another rainy afternoon.
The rest of the craft and curios
Same square base, different pieces in the box.
