How it gets there
We do not run a checkout. Every box on this site is bought and sent by our retail partner, and this page explains what that means before you click.
This is a catalogue. There is no basket on it and no till at the end, so nothing on this site is bought from us. The button on each box opens that product page at our retail partner, and from that point the whole transaction is theirs.
What that means in practice
- The price, the packing and the timing are all set by our retail partner, not by us
- What it costs to have a box sent, if anything, is shown at their checkout before you pay
- How long it takes depends on where you are and which option you choose there
- The order confirmation, and any updates on it, come from them
- We never see the order, so we cannot look one up or change one
Why we do it this way
Because doing it badly is worse than not doing it. Running a till properly means stock, packing, customs and somebody answering the phone at eight in the morning, and a small maker who half does that ends up being the reason a birthday is ruined. Our retail partner already does it at a scale we cannot match. We would rather spend the attention on what is inside the box.
Before you click the button
Check the piece count and the age grading on our page, because that is what we know best, and check the timing and the total on theirs, because that is what they know best. The two pages are describing the same box. If they disagree about what is in it, write to us and we will find out which of us is wrong.
Questions about a box are ours, so write to us. Questions about an order have to start with our retail partner, because they are the ones who can act on it.
Back to the floor
Five shelves of boxes, and four questions that narrow them down.
