Magnetic blocks travel set in a metal tin

We packed a handful of our magnetic shapes into a metal tin that latches shut. The tin itself acts as the building base, so a small tower stays upright while the car turns a corner. When food arrives or the seatbelt sign goes off, the whole pile snaps back into the box.

Lid as a base

The metal lid holds the first row of squares flat while small hands build up. Houses and little bridges stay where they belong instead of sliding across a restaurant table.

Snaps into a pocket

Everything drops back into the tin when it is time to leave. The box slips into a backpack side pocket or the pouch behind the front seat without spilling loose shapes.

Colors in the sunlight

Morning light through a car window shines through the clear panels and throws red and blue patterns across the upholstery. Two triangles click together into a diamond that glows in the sun.

Mixes with bigger boxes

These shapes share the same magnet spacing as our larger sets back at home. When the road trip is over, this handful clicks right into the playroom storage bin with the rest.
